This listing is for one half yard of Cherrywood Hand Dyed Fabric in Onyx, an optional colour approved for use in the 12th Annual Cherrywood Challenge.
The official Jane Goodall Challenge collection features eight designer-curated Cherrywood solid colours. Participants are also permitted to use Cherrywood Onyx as an additional colour, although it is completely optional and is not required for your challenge entry.
About the Jane Goodall Cherrywood Challenge
The 12th Annual Cherrywood Challenge honours the extraordinary life and legacy of Dr. Jane Goodall, whose groundbreaking study of wild chimpanzees in Tanzania and lifelong dedication to conservation, animal welfare, peace, and hope inspired people around the world.
This special quilting challenge invites participants to interpret Jane Goodall's life, work, and inspirational message through textile art using a carefully curated palette of eight Cherrywood Hand Dyed solid colours, with Onyx available as an optional additional colour.
Challenge submissions are due February 1, 2027.
A portion of the proceeds from the Jane Goodall Cherrywood Challenge will be donated to the Jane Goodall Institute.
