Electric Quilt 8 (EQ8) is compatible with both Windows and macOS computers and is designed to run smoothly on most modern systems.

• Recommended: Windows 10 or Windows 11, Intel® Core i5 (or AMD Ryzen™) processor, 16 GB RAM, 1920 × 1080 display.
• Minimum: Windows 7 (Service Pack 1), Windows 8.1, Intel® Core i3 (or AMD dual-core) processor, 6 GB RAM, 1366 × 768 display.

macOS

• Recommended: Intel® or Apple Silicon (M-series) processor, macOS Big Sur (11) through macOS Tahoe (26), 16 GB RAM, 1920 × 1080 display.
• Minimum: Intel® or Apple Silicon (M-series) processor, macOS High Sierra (10.13), Mojave (10.14), or Catalina (10.15), 6 GB RAM, 1366 × 768 display.

Additional Requirements

• Approximately 850 MB of available hard drive space (additional space required during installation).
• Internet access is required for downloading, activating, periodic license validation, and accessing support materials. Once activated, EQ8 can be used offline for everyday quilt design.
