Measuring an impressive 18½" . 23½", the mat is large enough to press an entire fat quarter or half-yard cut without repositioning your fabric. The dense ½" felted wool retains heat, allowing your fabric to be pressed from both sides simultaneously for crisp seams and beautifully flat quilt blocks. The wool's natural texture also helps prevent fabric from shifting, reducing distortion while pressing.

The included silicone tray protects your work surface from heat and moisture, catches condensation created by steam, and keeps the wool mat securely in place while you work. Designed to be fully reversible, the mat features alignment holes that fit onto the tray's built-in posts, allowing either side to be used for extended life.
